Easter Egg Hunt
We had a full day of stuff to do with Monkey Grandma. After soccer we stopped by the worst YMCA party ever, quickly left and then went to a really fun Easter egg hunt at East Brentwood PC.
It would have been perfect except that really scary bunny showed up to terrify Beth:

Lauren vs. Morgan
Beth had to miss her game because of a birthday party. My mom and Jen went to see Jake, who was playing at the same time as Lauren. I went with Lauren and we were surprised to learn that she was playing against her friend Morgan.
It was picture day, too. Here are some nice freebies I shot while they were getting ready:

The Best Part of Vegas
Things are way cooler if you get away from the city and go exploring in the Nevada parks. Here are some of the rocks and things we got to see and climb on:

The Vegases
Jen and I actually left all the kids with their Grandmother and went to Las Vegas. The city itself was overrated, but of course we had to walk around the strip -- here are a few pictures that we thought the kids would like:

Family Hat Trick
No camera today, but the luck of the Irish was definitely with the Donnelly kids today. All three of them scored goals in their soccer games. Now, it's not about scoring goals, but they sure do like it when they score. Lauren actually scored three goals and had an unbelievable game. She even played goalie for a long time and was never scored upon.

Busy Sports Day
Lauren was quite an athlete today, because after her soccer game she had a swim meet to compete in. She swam in six events and did very well.
Soccer is Back
Jacob is doing soccer this spring (he didn't want to do it in the fall) so now we're back to having three kids playing soccer. Today was the first game of the season. Jacob was having a miserable time, actually, but all of sudden out of the blue he marched through the other team and pound on the ball and scored a goal. I think he was the only one on his team to score today. It changed his attitude a little bit. Lauren got to play goalie for a good part of her game, she did awesome. Beth is happy to be back playing again, too, especially because her friend Claire is on her team.
