Happy Halloween
We had awesome weather (the rain held off and we had an eerie fog) for Halloween and I was able to get out of work early enough to participate in the festivities. The kids had a good time, except that Beth was too scared to go up to any of the doors because there might be a dog at the house, and Jake freaked out when someone told him he would turn into a skeleton if he took more than one piece of candy.

Dinner for Daddy
We had one of my official birthday dinners tonight at J. Alexanders. Here are a couple pictures, including the rare picture of me on this site:
Cincinnati Zoo
The Cincinnati Zoo was a lot of fun today. We went with Monkey Grandma. The coolest part by far was the polar bears swimming right next to the kids. The bears were putting on quite a show. All of the pictures are in Image Galleries 73 and 74.

Dinner At Larosa's
We had a big crowd at Larosa's for dinner. Besides Grandma, we also had Uncle Pat, Aunt Carole, Uncle Matt and Aunt Carolyne. I don't think Jake, Beth or Lauren had ever had Larosa's pizza before. Not surprisingly, they all liked it:
Sunflower Farm
Cincinnati has its own Fall farm to go to. We did crafts, saw cool stuff and walked around. They even had a horse demonstration. Well, they had horses and guy who talked about them, but he didn't actually want to show us anything cool on the horses:
Cincinnati
We're spending Fall Break in Cincinnati right now. Somehow, Lauren convinced her Aunt Carole to let her sleep over at her house for the night last night. When we came to pick her up the next morning, it sounded like she had had a great time:

Annual Gentry Farm Trip
We made our annual trip to Gentry Farm. They had gotten rid of a few things, so there wasn't quite as much to do, but it wasn't crowded and the weather was great, so we're not complaining. The funniest part of the trip was the cow that chased us on the hayride. It kept mooing at us and the kids thought it was hilarious.
