Dead or Alive

It will come as no surprise to regular visitors of this site that kids once again got in big trouble, but it may be a little unexpected that it's actually the sherif that's after them. Now, it seems, all three of them are "wanted." Here are the signs we found:

Ballet Camp

Lauren gets to do a lot of fun stuff this summer. This week, she's been at a ballet camp and has been having a great time. Here are some pictures from her performance today to show you just how much ballet you can learn in 5 days.

Swim Party

We went to the end-of-the-season party for Lauren's swim team (the Brentwood YMCA Seahawks). It was a pretty good time (well, getting food took forever and the kids were pretty bad when they were giving out awards, but they all got better once they got to go swimming):

Swim Meet Championship

Lauren participated (and did awesome) in the Williamson County swim league championship. You can see the results here. There were about 100 girls competing in each of the "6 and under" events. Lauren got 19th on her backstroke and 29th on freestyle. Here are some pictures of her and her fans:

Here's Lauren swimming her best event, the backstroke:

Here's her result. She was in lane 6. She came in second place in her heat, losing by just two-tenths of a second. They whooped everyone else in the heat:

Here are two future swim champs that can't wait until it's their turn to compete:

Zoo Members' Night

The zoo is awesome. We got free hot dogs and got to ride on the zoo animal carousel. Best animals tonight were the baby meerkat and the bengal tigers that were playing like they were kittens. Here are some pictures of the fun:
