New House
The kids certainly like the new house. Jacob especially enjoys the setup of the master bedroom, where he can nap much more comfortably than in the old house:
Everyone also likes the opportunity to model their "costumes" in front of the new fireplace:

Moving Day
Not unexpectedly, moving day turned out to be pretty hectic. At the end of the day, though, the only permanent damage was our dining room table, shown here:
This is what you might call the "before" picture. We have plenty of "after" pictures, too:

A (Hectic) Day At The Zoo
Even after doing this to the floor:
the kids convinced us that they were good enough to go to the zoo. Too bad Mommy & Daddy weren't that good. After a 10 minute discussion about whether Jen had the zoo card (she said she did), we arrived at the zoo only to discover that, in fact, we didn't have it. When I went back to the car to look for it, I proceeded to lock the keys in the car. Needless to say, it turned out to be an expensive day at the zoo. I waited for the locksmith, everyone else went in. Fortunately, Pop-A-Lock came quickly. It took about 12 seconds for the guy to get the door open using a modified blood pressure cuff and piece of floppy plastic with a rubber band on the end. Inside the zoo (thanks to the zoo for believing our story and not charging us admission) we spent most of our time at the playground. Here are a few pictures:

Dolphins
Congratulations to Kelly and the rest of the Donnellons for their help with the dolphin rescue in Florida two weeks ago. Here are the pictures we have of the event. The dolphin shown next to Kelly basically owes her life to Kelly. Jen & I are way jealous.
